The New and Improved Kids Club
Tanque Verde Ranch offers its New and Improved Kids Club full of fun and activities for ages 4-12 for all our all-inclusive guests. But do you know about all the improvements we made for the upcoming season?
Upon arrival, kids can join groups based on age – Buckaroos (4-6), Wranglers (7-9), and Outlaws (10-12). Our activities are geared to engage, educate, and entertain; in addition to teaching kids the importance of working together. The Kids Club does everything from hiking, grooming, arts and crafts, horse riding and more. We installed new playground equipment for the younger kids as well. The kids even have their own private dining room. Lunch, dinner, and a movie are included. We know your little wranglers will be even more excited to join the Kids Club when they hear of the new activities and new faces we have welcomed.
Our New Counselor
The Ranch is pleased to welcome Alyssa Faller to the Kids Club team. Faller will be the head Kids Club counselor. She is married with two young children and has a passion for horses. “I am really excited to join the Tanque Verde Ranch team. The Kids Club is a great program. Seeing children engage and learn together is inspiring and is what I love about my job,” said Faller. “We have a caring and knowledgeable team and we will ensure that your children have a safe and fun experience.”
Zorb Balls/Bubble Balls
You’ve probably seen a Zorb ball, or commonly called the human hamster ball on television. The Zorb ball has recently been added to our kid’s program. Climb in, let the adrenalin rush and take a deep breath before tumbling at an exhilarating speed. Race, collide, bounce, and let the world turn on your head as you take on the Zorbing experience. Join your kids and be entertained for hours.
Midnight and Patches
This winter, Tanque Verde Ranch has added two new family members to the Ranch. Midnight and Patches are miniature horses and are visiting us this season. They are enjoying have the Kids Club groom and paint them. They also enjoy walking down to the lake with the kids to watch them fish. They are a great addition and make great companion animals because of their gentle disposition.
Baking with our Pastry Chef, Kim Macy
Your child’s creative juices will flow while they assist our pastry chef, Kim Macy, with cookie decorating. No clean-up or hassle on your end, we will take care of that! Children will be able to decorate a “western” cookie with the option to choose from a variety of different icing colors. We have a large selection of sprinkles and toppings ready for the little decorators as well. The best part of cookie decorating, of course, is being able to eat the creation. Cookie cowboys and horses never looked so good!
Water Wars
What better way to cool down when the weather is warm than with a competitive game of Water Wars? Kids can go to opposing battle stations and launch water balloons at each other. Place, aim, and fire but watch out, retaliation comes quickly! Water Wars is a fun group activity. Children will be able to interact with each other as they strategically try to launch a balloon toward the opponent. There are slots and holes in each structure that allows water to come through. You might get sprinkled, sprayed, or even completely soaked. Either way, your children are sure to enjoy it. It is even as much fun to watch!
Our enthusiastic staff wants to make sure your children love their Kids Club experience. And we are dedicated to making sure they do.
