Named Top 10 Overall Resorts in United States
This fall, Tanque Verde Ranch was recognized as Condé Nast Traveler’s 2016 Readers’ Choice Award #1 Resort in Texas and the Southwest, with a score of 97.42. This score also placed the Ranch among the top 10 overall travel experiences in the United States.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized as not only the best resort in the Southwest but also among the top 10 vacation destinations in the country,” said General Manager, Rita Cote. “Here at Tanque Verde Ranch, guests return year after year for an authentic western experience that allows them to disconnect from their devices and reconnect with themselves and the great outdoors. Miles away from the stresses of city life, our visitors can spend their time bonding with horses on the trail and exploring the unique landscape on horse, bike, or foot; all while learning new skills and making new friends.”
Over 300,000 dedicated readers – nearly twice as many as last year – cast votes for 7,394 hotels, 606 cities, 500 cruise ships, and 236 islands, in an average survey time of 8.4 minutes. The result? The 1,402 best travel experiences in the world.
“It is a big honor to receive this award,” said Director of Sales Mary Ellen McBee. “Condé Nast Traveler is the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry. We continue to strive to accommodate our guests and give the best experience and this award reflects on our hard work and dedication. We are truly blessed and want to thank our guests.”
