Charred Carrot Turmeric Siracha Sauce - Wellness Recipe
In honor of our upcoming Wellness Month, our in-house Chefs present a Charred Carrot Turmeric Siracha Sauce - Wellness Recipe, a healthy sauce recipe for drizzling over oven-roasted lamb, chicken thighs, or veggie noodles. This recipe consists of healthy vegetable elements along with spices for a little bit of a kick. This dish is also gluten-free and vegan. - 2 cups steamed peeled carrots
- 1 tbsp canola oil
- 1 tbsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp aji Amarillo
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- One can coconut milk
- 1 cup veg stock
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- Salt (to taste)
Place the steamed carrots in a bowl, add the oil, turmeric, Aji Amarillo and garlic powder. Once the outside of the carrots are well coated, lay on a sheet tray and put in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20-25 min. till dark golden brown When you remove, add the rest of your items with carrots in a blender, except you veg stock. Slowly add the veg stock as you blend the rest of your ingredients. When the puree is thick but smooth add your salt as you would like, then your sauce is done! Just heat and toss with pasta or veggie noodles!
