Craft and Culinary Weekend

Grab your cowboy hat, and slip on your boots, it’s time for Boots n’ Brews. Tanque Verde Ranch’s 2nd Annual event will take place on January 26th and 27th of 2018. The weekend focuses on local breweries and their craft beers along with delicious culinary pairings; made by our Chef Justin Macy and his culinary team. This educational weekend will give you a chance to sample all kinds of fun and unique brews. As an effort to support the industry and spread the word about the fantastic cuisine and craft beers offered in the area, TVR is bringing the best of the best for a spectacular time! Along with crafts and cuisine, enjoy the multiple activities throughout the weekend.

Dog House Saloon Activities To kick off the weekend, join us Friday evening in the Dog House Saloon for the Tap Take-over at 8:00 P.M. and be the first to try participating breweries craft beers while you indulge in our tasty Dog House Bites. Feeling lucky? Take a seat at the table for Wyatt Earp’s Texas Hold’Em.

Enjoy the Ranch On Saturday, enjoy a free day to enjoy the Ranch and all the activities. Hop on a horse, go for a hike, or sit by the pool— the afternoon is entirely up to you.  At 4:30 P.M. head down to the Cottonwoods where all the participating breweries will be set up. Be there for the introduction from the participating breweries; Uncle Bears, Crooked Tooth, Sentinel Peak, 1912, Iron John, Dillinger, and more! Taste brews, eat great foods, and mingle with some of the best beer connoisseurs in Tucson. During the tasting event, you will get to vote on the next Tanque Verde Ranch beer. This beer will be featured on tap in the Dog House Saloon for one year. Proceeds from this beer (10%) will be donated to TROT (Therapeutic Riding of Tucson). After meeting and mingling with the breweries, stick around till 6:00 P.M. for a heightened, Cowboy Cookout BBQ; featuring more delicious items than ever before.

The night doesn’t end there! Live Music will be provided by the Clear Country Band. Enjoy dancing to live music in the middle of the Cottonwoods. Warm, crackling bonfires and mesquite trees decorated with strings of lights dancing with you will make your night one to remember.

Can you believe that the weekend doesn’t end there? Get up Sunday morning and start your day off right by getting on a horse. Included in the Boots N’ Brews package is a Breakfast Ride up to Old Homestead, where you can indulge in southwestern eggs, our famous blueberry pancakes, and more!
