150 Year Anniversary Celebration at the Tanque Verde Ranch

At The Ranch, Awards

Tanque Verde Ranch is ecstatic to announce that this year is the 150-year milestone in history. It will be a year-long celebration that will reflect on the growth and rising impact Tanque Verde Ranch has and continues to make. The year will be filled with many opportunities and events that will provide guests and visitors alike with an experience filled with nostalgia, past times, and everlasting memories.

150 Year Anniversary Celebration

To kick-off the year-long celebration, Tanque Verde Ranch hosted a ceremony on Wednesday, March 14th from 3-5 PM. Where our famous Prickly Pear Margaritas, hors d’ouevres, a Mariachi band, and a plaque acceptance presentation from the Mayor’s office along with stories from Cote family members took place.

Tanque Verde Ranch’s Rita Cote, past General Manager and currently positioned as the Ranch’s Innkeeper, along with General Manager, Terry Hanley, and 3rd generation Cote family member, Brett Cote, all attended the celebration to accept the plaque and shake hands with the committee. They all shared a few words, memories, and gratitude of the Ranch’s 150 years. Along with Tanque Verde Ranch’s staff and family, a local partner from the Tucson Metro Chamber and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber was present for the final ribbon-cutting.
